paysafecard focuses on security with SimpleSMS

paysafecard is an online prepaid payment method available in 43 countries worldwide and at over 500,000 points of sale. paysafecard is available to everyone – customers need neither an account nor a credit card. All that is required for payment is the 16-digit paysafecard PIN.

From its headquarters in Vienna, paysafecard has developed into one of the market leaders for prepaid payment methods with the brands paysafecard, my paysafecard and paysafecard MasterCard®. The company was founded in Austria in 2000 and belongs to the Paysafe Group plc. Paysafe shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol (PAYS.L).

The partnership with SimpleSMS already exists since 2008, almost 3 years ago Mr. Berthold Kao took over the position of Head of Product Management at paysafecard.com and is – in close cooperation with IT and Marketing – responsible for product development. In a short interview Mr. Kao tells us what he thinks about the products and service of SimpleSMS today.

Editor: Mr. Kao, what criteria finally convinced you of the SimpleSMS tool?

Mr. Kao: The tool is extremely user friendly, it is easy and clear to control via the online customer account and extensions to our service range can be realized quickly and easily.

Editor: For what purposes do you use the SimpleSMS software?

Mr. Kao: We use the SimpleSMS tool in different areas. It is regularly used in the course of registration for our product my paysafecard. The applicant receives a code on his cell phone, which he has to enter on the website to complete his registration.

Editor: How satisfied are you and your team with the services of and cooperation with SimpleSMS in general?

Mr. Kao: Apart from the consistently good availability of the products, we at SimpleSMS especially appreciate the very fast and personal support by Mr. Holubar and his team. Also the reporting capabilities of SimpleSMS are excellent.

Editor: So from today’s point of view, would you recommend SimpleSMS to others?

Mr. Kao: Yes, definitely.
